Would This New Feature Make You Ditch the Facebook Messenger App?

Remember when Facebook launched Messenger Lite so that users can experience Facebook Messenger without the clutter?

Well, they’ve just added a feature that could make you ditch the original bloated app.

Prior to now, you could only make voice calls, send stickers/GIFs, share pictures, and record voice messages on Messenger Lite, but thanks to the new addition, users who own Messenger Lite can also make video calls just like you would on the standard Messenger app

On one hand, it seems like the app might not be as “lite” as it should be, but you shouldn’t worry because Messenger Lite still weighs about 19 MB as opposed to the standard Messenger app which comes in at 48.72 MB, and if I were to choose, I’d probably go with Messenger Lite because I don’t care about the fluff that comes with the standard messenger app.
So, over to you, would this added feature make you dump the Standard Messenger app?
