WHAT WAS the EARLIEST TIME YOU HAD TO GET UP for WORK?
When I used to work in a hotel I had to set my alarm on 5:00 🕔 in the morning, it was the earliest shift there which started at 7 am, so I had to wake up, have some breakfast, take a shower, get dressed, take a subway to get there, then change to my uniform, make my hair done according to the standards 🙄, put a big smile on my face😁and start working;)
When I would come back home from work, I’d clean a bit, cook something and watch some tv with my hubby.By 8 pm I started falling asleep already, my husband was so frustrated that I would fall asleep so early while we watch some nice movie he was always asking: Are you sleeping? In order to not make him upset I was pretending I’m not sleeping and would always say: No, no I’m not, I’m not, waking up for a second and then falling back to sleep 😴 He got more sneaky and later started asking questions about what was happening in the movie past 5 minutes to check if I was really sleeping, I somehow could hear the movie through my sleep so I would answer, but sometimes I was just saying stuff that didn’t make any sense 😂😂😂🤣These moments my hubby was catching me red handed lol
Yesterday my dog was cozying up in a blanket, falling asleep slowly. She reminded me of myself during hotel times hahaha I guess if I were a dog it would all look like this:
I’m not sleeping!😯See?
Not sleeping..
Not sleeping 💤
😴 💤 💤 💤
What was the earliest time you had to wake up for work?
When I was working as a builder I had to get up at 3 o'clock sometimes. We had to drive 2 and a half hours and started work at 6.30; those days I came back from work at 7 or 7.30 in the evening. It was a horrible job.
I can imagine!Very exhausting physically, but think about the fact that you have built somebody’s house, it’s actually amazing😊
Haha:) That's similar to what my uncle said:) I used to work in the same company as my dad and 3 of my uncles:) One of my uncles always said: "Our family has build more houses than any other family in Germany." :))))
See, your family made a huge contribution and great work 😊
:)
I worked in a hospital and had to start work at 6am. The shift went from 6am to 2.30pm. The finish time was good because it meant that you could get stuff done after work with time to spare. The only downside was that you had to be in bed by around 9pm - 10pm.
Yeah, the good thing in early shifts is that you can get stuff somebody after work!
The earliest is That day when I could not even sleep.
And I don't watch TV. because I can't stop comparing my paycheck to theirs.
If my union go on strike for one week, federal government will declare marshal law. If all Hollywood go on strike for 10 thousand years no body would care.
I actually don’t remember not sleeping at all and then going to work, sleeping 2 hours and then working happened to me several times yeah. You win!🙂
I am a lineman for the power company so I can get called to work at anytime. When big storms hit we often work 40hrs straight with no sleep. Maybe a 10 min cat nap here and there. Then 16hrs on and 8 hrs off after that. Until everyone has power again.
that nodding off moment, Where u aren't all the way alseep but you kind of are. It pretty weird. Lol maybe a body twitch here and there.
My god, working 40 hours straight with no sleep must be quite tough, I hope the company pays well! Are there any women doing what you do?
There are a few. But not many. High voltage electrical lineman is my occupation.
every photos so nice
3 am for a dumb grocery store job. Uuuugh.
3 am is super early, was that 24/7 kind of store? Why did they need you soo early?
The trucks delivered all the groceries at 4am. Then we had to get it all on the shelves before the store opened at 8am. This is a big grocery store in the U.S so we are talking about a lot of groceries. 8 palletts stacked 6 feet high.
Ohh I see, it’s quite interesting how some stuff is just being taken for granted, like the groceries put on the shelves. People actually get up so so early to do this.
3:45 am. Work at 4:15am
I guess I should stop complaining hahah Where did you work?
I work at a restaurant. We open at 6 am. We get there at 4:15a to get everything ready to open the store. I usually work until 2pm. I usually go to bed about 10:00-10:30 pm. It's not so bad, better than working 11-7.
I used to work at a restaurant as well, but didn’t have to wake up that early. There is something nice actually of waking up early and then coming back gone earlier than others 🙂🙃

I had get up at 3:00 am to get to work at 4:30 am.
My gosh, what kind of work did you do?
I used to be an information operator. We found phone numbers for people. Those hours were mostly on holidays like Christmas.
I see;)
lol this is too funny! Your husband is cheeky for asking specific questions to ensure you were actually watching! The earliest I had to get up for work was 5.30am, and it wasn't actually too bad. But after coming back from work, I'd usually take half an hour power nap, and usually sleep between 10-11pm.
Hahahaha yeah he is!Testing me non-stop haha Power nap is actually a smart thing to do, but I usually can’t sleep during the day time;)
:) Clever!
