Eid Adha; A time to reflect
Hi readers, before I'll start let me wish my fellow Muslims all around the globe Eid Mubarak! May Allah allow us to see more of it in life with peace and rest if mind.
Today, I will be talking about the lessons in today's celebration as far as it is concern. What necessitates the celebration how it came about, how it all started and all.
Salah; How it started?
Salah is one of the Islamic festival being celebrated around August-September axis. It is is a festival to mark the total submission of Prophet Abraham(AS) when he was ordered to slaughter his only son, Ismael.
He was ordered by God and he decided to figure this order, which by turn he worked towards finishing the commandment.
Abraham was seen as an obedient servant of Allah and was made to slaughter a ram in the stead of his only son, Ismael, whose birth was not just a miracle.
When it started?
Eid-ul-Adha as it's usually called gas been like a source of link between this two Gods. Trips of people enters and leaves the curtains making it an over make sense runner.
We can say Eid-ul-Adha starts during the time of Prophet Ibrahim(Ile odun). But literally, we can say Eid-ul-Adha fully started during the time of the House Prophet Muhammad(SAW)
There has been the commandments of killing either a ram, male sheep. This is to behave personal growth, development and other stuffs.
From @cypher01, I wish all my fellow Muslims, Eid Mubarak.
