I think it is a courageous thing to do to chronicle and share something like this, you never know you could save a life. My wife waited a year dealing with symptoms that she was simply embarrassed about and that extra time waiting had allowed the cancer to spread. By the time it was found it was too late and was a death sentence. She was only 22 at her time of passing. Yes that 20 something year old attitude of invincibility can truly be hazardous to your health.

Thank you. Your own post the other day was a big motivator for me to write my own story. Part of my goal in writing this is to hopefully convince other people to take their health seriously. Self breast exams, testicular exams, skin exams and other preventative measures are so important. And easy.
