Day in the life of an IT Tech

where do you draw the line , i am an IT Professional severing about 1200 users on daily basis
something strange happening at work at the moment happened to me twice in a week.

when did chairs become IT's problem ?

Just been asked by one of my users how does he go about getting a new chair!!
My Reply wait until the office was empty and steal someones elses.
and he thought i was joking ... come on dude i am IT

a few days earlier similar kinda request.

User : Can you make these old, broken, useless chairs disappear?

Me: No, I cannot we may need to contact building maintenance and see if they have a special dumpster for antiquated office furniture.

Them: Well, (the old IT Manager) would just make them disappear so why can't you?

Me: no wonder he stopped working here
User: Oh, ok. Thanks!
