After three days of my entire country closing for business due to the clash of two weather fronts, Storm Emma and the Beast from the East, a thaw has finally begun.IMG_20180302_155307.jpg

Can't Cope/StayHome
It was the Siberian big freeze that posed the biggest threat to us as we really do not have any equipment or experience in dealing with this kind of weather. My work closed on Wednesday but the real danger was on Friday in particular.
Oh how we joked about us Irish cleaning out every shop of the basics as we had a bizarre run on bread -sliced pan to be exact.

Christmas 2.0
It began all fun and games - fun in the snow and fluffy ski resort type snow that we never get here. Pure snowflake heaven!

Eff Off Snow
I have been inside with my young toddler for 3 days following the advice of our Met Office. I want my life back! Normal life please return!! How you folks in Canada, Scandinavia, Russia and other places deal with weeks of being snowed in, I cannot imagine. I salut you.

I went out and walked for 3 solid hours this morning as good old Dublin Bike are still out of action. Just had to get out of the damned house. If this was a regular thing I'd definitely emigrate.

Yes!!! I cannot fathom how they do it in colder climates! I was in Sweden before and the b n b lady was saying they were going to emigrate because of the weather- the snow!
