It's Getting Close To Silly Season
Can you believe it? We're heading for elections 2020 in just over a year! Seems like so long ago when Trump beat Clinton unexpectedly.
You can see the election strategies being worked out. On one side, you have the doubling down of current policy.
You only have to look at yesterday's tweet out of nowhere from the president. The markets were doing well and then boom - he says the China talks are going nowhere and that he could lay more tariffs.
On the other side is a complete repudiation of what the current administration stands for. Some policies are good but some, I have to say, wouldn't stand for too long outside the online echo chamber.
Anyway, not long to go now and as an outsider who's affected by the madness, I hope we see better days soon.
