What to do with those old CD's? Answer: CD vs. Microwave
You know you don't have to wait till the fourth of July to have fireworks and they need not be that loud. Yesterday I posed a question. What would you do with old CD disks?
What have you tossed out that you later needed?
So you found a CD that has an old program on it, one that you will never use again. Great!
Find a plate or bowl and set the microwave oven for 10 seconds - no more. Place the CD in the oven and shut the door.
I was a bit startled by the response because I have not done this in a while

That's one fun way to dump old CDs hahaha.. Am trying it out on mine. The sound that comes out is thrilling.
Glad you are able to try it. If you save the dust brushed from the old CD after nuking it, you would have some nice glitter.
