THE JAY PARADOX MODEL

The average citizen crave for social comfort. This is what makes live worth living. The government always talk about empowering man power but have never sat back to analyse the root to empowering human capital. In my research, I've been able to identify the root cause to be the household in which I ll explain later in this write-up.

Nigeria has been faced with several cases of Human capital development in which I'm taking my case study from... this has resulted in serious issue of unemployment in the country. The issue have been as a result of unemployable man power, lack of jobs to mention a few. The key issue now is how to curb the poor human capital development. This brings me back to my research proper.

The JAY paradox (phase1)
If the dream of every human is to crave for social confort then making social confort a priority will only direct all humans attention towards social comfort.

HOW CAN THE GOVT DIRECT OR STIR UP HUMAN CAPITAL BY PRIORITISING SOCIAL CONFORT?
The labour force..the labour force is a key factor in human development. My stasis states that the average citizen needs comfort and will do anything to derive social comfort. If education or the knowledge industry is given much priority then all humans will strive to reach or accumulate some degree of this social confort.

HOW CAN THIS BE ACHIEVED?
If relevance is given to the labour force in monetary terms and understanding the fact that more investment beget more income then all individuals will strive to invest in education as the return in investment is high. By doing this..the nation is directing focus to human capital development. This means that the income received from labour must be reasonably high enough to cover up for this expenses because its not rational for a low income to invest in high education. This means that the level of human capital development is directly related to income if invested properly.
Looking at the Nigerian situation..rent for labour is low therefore the country should not complain of low human capital. To improve our standard, first we must improve our pay.
