Elite Reselling Strategies Pool Meeting (If You Like Making Money Online Don't Miss This Meeting!)
Reselling products is so competitive that large retailers are going out of business doing battle with each other. You have to be on top of your game if you want to survive and even thrive in this competitive environment. The strategies I'm going to tell you about today were developed by yours truly @brianphobos
These are 100% Elite Strategies that you won't hear anywhere else but here!
1) Open a business mailbox at a warehouse in Oregon through https://www.shipito.com
I developed this strategy when I realized that some people including myself were in states that rendered them ineffective at reselling certain products because of sales tax to the end buyer. You aren't the end buyer, you are a reseller but sometimes you have to acquire products that in the eyes of the retailer selling the product they think you are an end buyer.
It is only $50 / year to have an address in Oregon!!!!! Then they charge a couple bucks each package that comes in and a few bucks to re-consolidate the packages into bigger boxes. This service is typically for people outside the United States who want to buy from US Retailers but can't get it shipped to them. This has become a really big business these days. Well I called up the warehouse and asked them a few questions.
- Can I reship to US based addresses? Answer: Yep!
- Can you reship my packages straight to the Amazon warehouses? Answer: Yep!
- Can you palletize my packages and ship it out FedEx freight? Answer: Yep!
After reading that you should be smashing that Upvote Button and getting really excited! This opens up a ton of possibilities. What do you do if Target.com is having a huge sale on something that is going for way more on Amazon.com but it won't be equitable for you to pay the sales tax in your home state? Ship to Oregon and have them ship straight to Amazon FBA!!! You get the idea. There are a lot of possibilities with this.
2) Sell Products Wholesale from the USA, Canada, or Australia to the Chinese.
This second strategy is another little known method. Most people think about sourcing products from China to sell in the United States. Did you ever think that maybe the Chinese really want our products? Kind of like how we want Italian Supercars? Well I'm not going to tell you guys too much but I will give you some hints.
There are several sites in China that are like Amazon or eBay and resellers over there sell common products from the United States like hot cakes. Let me show you a little sneak peek!
Ever shopped at Costco? Do you like their Kirkland brand products? So do the people in China!
Taobao.com is just one of these such sites you can find resellers moving US, Canadian, and Australian based products. Contacting the sellers can be a little work for sure. Most aren't going to put in the work so if you get a Chinese translator to help you out or use Google translate you can create accounts and reach out to the companies selling the products. These people / companies have contacts in the United States that will work with you to source the products they are looking to sell over there.
A good example of how you could make this work is as follows. Let's say you live in Portland, Oregon where there is no sales tax. You could negotiate a wholesale rate you are going to sell these products to a Chinese buyer for. Negotiate all the details. Then you buy the product up, palletize it, wrap it in plastic wrap, and then they have it picked up at your house or business by a freight carrier that will drive it to the port. They will deal with the customs and all that. Your main goal is to buy the product, organize and get it ready to ship. They will often meet with you in person and obviously you make sure that you get the money up front for the purchases.
Now this should be enough information to get some of you bouncing off the walls looking for products and deals that you can do this with! I have given away too much elite information already! Aren't you glad you are following me?
Thank you for reading my post and please consider following me @brianphobos
People want stuff from AUS? - what, like kangaroos and sand? :)
Yep! Hahah. Yeah there are a lot of Australian products being resold in China!
I'm not in America (obviously) but found this really interesting- I think you have found a solution to a complex problem.
The same thing can really apply anywhere. There has to be something that you guys can't get very easily in the UK. I have heard that Aloe Vera is really expensive there. Suddenly if you find a way to get it cheap you can make good money. Lots of products are like that.
