GTO Muurica Adventures: "Booze and Big Cubes"

Last weekend, I went north to hangout with my friend Chris in hopes of firing up his long time GTO Project. Like any red blooded Muurican gear head, I came bearing gifts.

With some fighting, swear words, and good ole'fashion begging we added some fluids and went for the goal.

......Well, atleast we did the next day because we were a few beers in. That and we needed to add a oil pressure gage. As usual, the parts store was closed and we didn't realize we needed it until after we left the first time...... just before they closed (typical shenanigans).

Alas, we did get the moons to align and even had our own cheerleaders (Chris's charming wife and daughter) to video tape and lend emotional support with a dash of babysitting the two of us temporarily.

All in all it was fun and definitely recharges the batteries for the path ahead. Hopefully soon, we'll see it hit the track.
