Hello there Steemians!
This weekend I rode to a small farm close to the Jakkur lake in Bangalore. It's the dream project of my dear friend Anamika Bist who started this as a hobby but has turned into a profession now.
Village story promises to bring out the little farmer in you !!
The urban lifestyles of today have limited people's access to fresh air, open spaces and mother nature, constricting the imagination of the new generation to mere clicks of buttons and taps of touch-screens.
Village Story is a start-up with a vision of building positive communities focused on self-sustainability, growing healthy food by offering Community Farming, open air chill-out space for families, yoga zone, events, workshops and more.
They offer families and children the experience to sow and grow vegetables with their own hands and see the fruition of their toil from the farm bed to their dinner plate, and realize the invaluable gifts of nature, something which has come to be so frivolously disregarded in our lives today....
Her Dream Garden provides end to end solution to terrace gardening, has always been supportive of those who wanted to include greenery a part of their life by helping them grow fresh and organic edibles for their healthy lifestyle or other plants which increases the urban green space

We stayed the night in tents put up and We woke up to a sumptuous breakfast at the Village story which was cooked on firewood. All together it was a weekend well spent
