Alcohol - A Friend or A Foe?

in #blog6 years ago

Alcohol is widely consumed by almost all people. During the ancient times, alcohol has been the highlight of every celebration. It has also been used for therapeutic and medicinal purposes.

As we are all aware, even up to this modern, new generation, alcohol has been a part of people's life. It is not only used during celebrations but sometimes, people use them as part of their daily lives.

Alcohol has a great impact on a human body. It can be easily absorbed causing the blood vessels to dilate and making more warm blood to flow into the distal parts or the body. This is the reason why people can feel warm shortly after drinking alcoholic beverages. When the alcohol was absorbed into the brain, it will then affect the central nervous system, altering the person's eyes, hand, and gestures coordination making the person clumsy (the most common manifestation).

Excessive intake of alcohol could lead to heart disease, liver problem, kidney failure, et cetera. But do you know that daily intake of red wine is also beneficial?

With moderate consumption of red wine, it could help decrease the risk of heart disease, stroke, diabetes mellitus, metabolic syndrome, and even early death.

So, after all, it is not too bad to gulp a little amount of red wine every day as it also gives you a chance to stay healthy and live longer.

There are still so much to learn in this amazing world. I hope this one helps!

Lets toast to a better life!

Years ago, people did not have a way to filter water. When thirsty, they relied on fermented fruit juice and meade, because it was cleaner than the water they had available. Drinking booze was the norm.

Its amazing how they need filter systems when spring waters during their times were way cleaner compared to these days.
