Larsen C Ice Shelf Breaks Free

With the Larsen C Ice Shelf breaking free from Antarctica this week, emotions are being flared up about its possible impact on the planet. Well I for one can see a significant increase in temperatures here in South Africa which cause some serious prospects of concern.

Telltale Signs That Global Warming Is On The Increase

One of the signs that caused me to look closer at the impact global warming has, was the very dry season we experienced here in South Africa, the 2016 -2017 rain season left many South Africans high and dry. The Vaal Dam one of the biggest dams in the country was at a record low this year. Cape Town is still draught stricken and a big contributor to the Knysna fires was due to the draught.

But the biggest telltale is the temperatures we are experiencing in mid winter, the last two winters we haven't had subzero temperatures during night fall and our midday temperatures are down right mad for winter, it used to average between 10C° - 20C° but today in the north of the country it reached a high of 30C° and I know cause I was there.

So please do your bit to help keep greenhouse gasses to a minimum, change starts with you!
