A friend had a friend become a new user and they needed help on building a link to a youtube video without it being embedded in the post. This was the solution I came up with.
You can try this: Watch
Place a[ in front of the word watch no space between [W
place a ] after the t in watch t], once again no space.
put a ( after the ] like this ](no space,
then type out the url https// www youtube.com/watch?v=v7iMYDmg1Es
end the url with a )
That should give you what you want.
[Link Holder] followed by your URL inclosed in parentheses. ( ). That should do it.
[Watch] is just the link holder you can type whatever you want there.
And look close there is no space between ](
That should take them to your youtube page.
(sorry for not looking closer when I originally posted hope that helps now.)
If you have a more elegant way of saying this I would appreciate it.
