This Blog contains the very finest curiosities of the Internet basically since the Internet exists.
And while the weird HTML forums slowly disappeared through the years and most eye cancer causing blogs float without being updated for years slowly toward the end of their existence, the everlasting blort stands proud and triumphs.
There were memes before the term memes even existed, there are artists featured, music, photography, animation, little kittens, other great oldschool blogs.. basically everything that makes the world wide web globally a success.
I have honestly no idea how I stumbled upon this little gem years ago, I guess one click led to another..
but I am happy I did!
It might just be exactly my humour and interests, but I think it deserves as much attention as possible.
Since it startet in September 2000 (!) different people seem to have collected and represented their finds, which of course has been reduced to the last man standing by now it seems.
I definitely dread the day this blog stops posting!
By now this blog should be preserved as some kind of cultural monument, in my humble opinion.
Therefore I will at least mention it here and hopefully brighten the day for all the fellow steemians that enjoy the cabinet of curiosities humankind created during this last decades!
