in #blog7 years ago

Every bloggers goal is to get as much people as he/she can to their blog. Some pay for it, some try every means possible to get it for free, some are just good enough to get the amount of people they need to their blog. The purpose of this article is for the beginners not really for the established bloggers. So we are going to go through the basics you need to take to get traffic to your blog. We are going to go over 4 biggest platforms that can drive traffic to your blog. This is the second to the last step in blogging. The final step is to monetize a blog like the big boys, but don't try to run before you can walk.

It's a waste of time to create a product before you have any visitors to your website, because you have no idea what your readers are interested in yet.

In the world of traffic, there are lots of directions you can head. That being said, there are 4 source of traffic in particular that makes sense for bloggers these days. You can use all four if you'd like, but we recommend trying to get good at ONE in the beginning, because each of them takes a lot of time to truly master.

Here are the 4 different types of traffic for new bloggers(those that were excluded like Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter and a host of others, is because they do not generate most bloggers as much traffic as the sources listed below;
