My First MX4D Movie in Malaysia

When I first experienced the 4D movie experience in China, it totally change how I want to experience watching movies in a cinema.

So when MIB International trailer is out, I thought it would be great in 4D, and it did not disappoint.

So what is MX4D?

MX4D or MX4D ® MOTION EFX THEATRE is one of the experience offered by cinema to allow their audience to take Movie Time to the next level.

For MBO Cinemas in Malaysia, this is what you can expect when purchasing a MX4D movie ticket.

Review:

The experience is safe and good. But the only setback is the price. I bought 2 tickets and it cost RM69, which is almost triple the price of a newly released movie. There were lots of action throughout the whole movie and the chair moves a lot too, so be sure not to eat too much before entering or you might faced a tummy ache. There are lots of sudden air blast to your face too. The only thing that I didn't like a lot is the scent, it smells like earth, especially for parts where the car is drifting. Do expect a lot of that if you're watching FAST & FURIOUS.

Excitement: ⭐⭐⭐

I guess I was expecting it to be a roller coaster ride but it's a super mild experience if you're craving for adrenaline. If you're bringing teens, tell them to sit tight, not move around and it will be fun experience. There are little jerks from the seat for punching scenes too.

Safety: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

100% safe

Would I go again?

If there is a big discount, definitely!
