buying a banger, What the F*ck have I gone and bought now
Cars, you can't live with them and you can't live with out them.
You all remember that my car is in pieces, well I managed to make £300 from parts and I have gone and bought the shed of the week.
I have been out looking for a car all day and finally something came a long.
I have bought an old saxo, yep a 1.1 saxo one of them tin cans on wheels that all the boy racers used to drive back in the late 90's who thought they were right hard with their big boy exhausts.
And to top it off mine has got the same exhaust on it, haha, I am now going to call it the prat mobeal as well that is what it make me look like.

It looked like this, but needed a paint job. They run forever though, plus my Dad had 6 of them for spare parts...

The gas mileage is great though, and parts are cheap, plus you can fix just about everything on it on the side of the road.
I drove one until I saved enough to pay cash for a new Fiesta.... They freak out at the dealerships here if you pay cash. Evidently, they make a good bit by financing it.
Yep finance is a big deal here too, the mark up for people with poor credit is crazy, so if you have good credit you can get a car for £49 but with poor or no credit they charge an extra £20 a week. that put the people with poor or no credit in a real tight spot as it is just putting them more in debt that they can not afford. it's just another way for the rich to stay rich and the poor to stay poor I am afrade.
