★ [Do You Know]_The M+, MC and CE Functions in the Calculator? ★
Hi Steemian, Calculator is an electronic counting tool. This tool is very helpful when doing a lot of number calculations though. Basically, the calculator is divided into two types, the usual calculator and the scientific calculator. The type used for standard calculations is the ordinary calculator. As for more complicated calculations, then a scientific calculator is required.
Calculators are widely used traders, especially to count money. There are many buttons on the calculator, of course with each function. Have you ever found the M+, MC, and other buttons on the calculator? Here's the full explanation as collected from the source magazine orami, check this out :
M+ (memory plus)
As the name implies, this button has a function of adding calculation results to memory. By pressing the M+ key, the last count will be stored in the calculator memory. For example, the sum of 5 + 5 = 10, then press M+, then the number 10 is already stored.MR and MRC (memory recall)
The function of MR and MRC keys is actually the same, that is to call the stored memory. The only difference lies in the manufacturer of the calculator. In the example above, the number 10 has been stored in memory. To eject, simply press the MR or MRC button.M- dan MC (memory clear)
This button has a function to delete numbers stored in the memory of the calculator. The number 10 above will be removed as soon as the M- or MC button is pressed. In other words, M- and MC will reset the memory to 0.C and CE (clear entry)
In calculating many numbers, incorrect input is common. It would be tiring to start counting again. The solution, just press C or CE, then the last inputted number will be deleted.Min
If it is difficult to remember the nominal numbers listed on the calculator screen, the Min button will help remember it. The Min button is functionally similar to M+, but the difference Min will store everything displayed on screen right then and there.GT (grand total)
This button will call the total of all counts in memory. The GT button is used to perform a streak count. For example, to calculate 5 + 5 + (4x2) = 18, add 5 + 5 = 10 and store the number 10 with M+. Calculate 4x2 = 8 then press GT, then the result will be 18.AC (all clear)
This button is useful for deleting all calculation results on the calculator screen, also reset all functions that have been entered. But the AC button will not delete the count already stored in the calculator memory.
Indeed not all calculators have all the buttons as above. In addition, each type of calculator also has its own term, depending on the manufacturer. The existence of MR and MRC keys sometimes confuse users, although it has a similar function. At the very least, the button above is a general description of the current calculator.
Well, hopefully this post can add to our insight (especially for those of you who struggled with the calculator) and simplify your work. Final words, have fun and have a nice to you.
