A little constructive hint- remember, less is more: "Shit. I'm so sorry, it's my fault, I never meant to...., oh shit, Becky I'm so sorry, shit! shit! shit" and shit is used again right after. Any word used a lot in close quarters is annoying to the readers brain. It's not like talking where when a word used repeatedly can accentuate meaning.
