Follow your heart.

You see it on all kinds of stuff and hear people say all the time, "follow your heart". That's terrible advise! If you let raw passion (of whatever sort) guide your actions, words, even thoughts, it's going to put you in a bad position EVERY SINGLE TIME. I see it happen over and over. Even fell into that trap myself a time or two, so I'm speaking to myself in part too.

Temper your passions with reason, understanding, and humility. Learn to lean on God. The better we learn to do that, the better off we'll all be.
