How to Be Authentic in a World of Wannabes

You log on to Facebook. Your wall, in general, has flooded with updates from your friends. Also, people you hardly know but find your way in your Friends list. Yet one thing is common.

Nearly 80% of these updates throw photos, opinions, and videos of everyone who pretends to be someone. They all want to make an impression that they are glad, powerful and are exploding with their lives!

The sad truth with these wannabes is that they are unhappy, they are sad. On the surface, they can enjoy what they do but dig deeper and you will get a little value in their claims. Wannabes have forgotten how it feels to be true to themselves. They are under great pressure to play all the time; they do not realize independence and happiness due to being authentic.

So how do you ensure that you do not lose yourself? Just make sure that you want to remind these four qualities that will help you reclaim your authenticity.

Honesty:-

The wise men have said since ancient times that the answers to all the doubts of the inner self-have been answered. But due to pressure to influence others, we almost drowned in this inner voice.

Whenever you have to face the dilemma of decision making, then just ask yourself, ‘will this decision help me become what I want to be always? Or will it be one of those decisions that will make people around me happy and leave me sad?

Passion:-

The one you can be genuine is the easiest way you like. One of the primary reasons for people to start worrying is that when they hate, they choose to do this. Whether it is doing a job that you do not like, or staying with a person whom you can not make yourself, your authenticity disappears in every moment of such a time.

If you do not excite what you are doing in your life, then start searching. Assess your powers and find out what comes naturally to you. Nature has made us all unique and with this specificity comes a combination of talents which only we have access to. Keep them to work and live with passion. You do not have an eternity to know how to be true to yourself. Start now!

Courage to Fail:-

One thing that identifies people who are authentic is their fearlessness. And this quality exists because they have failed more than anyone else in their domain. Because they learn faster than these failures, they are not afraid to try new things.

This courage gives them the confidence of constantly promoting and pushing their innovations. They are always running; they are trying to understand the ways they like and succeed in it. In this process, they become leaders who instruct others rather than wannabes after someone else’s mark.

The next time you follow the heart, do not stop the fear of failure. Once you can achieve your true potential after seeing the result it will be able to run through the examinations.

Indifference:-

Many people complain that they are doing something else in life. “I start to start things that excite me but Midway, I accept defeat because I’m afraid what others will think about me.”

Do you know? You need to start getting depressed. When you use it against the right enemies, apathy is a powerful weapon. And a very powerful enemy that prevents you from being authentic – What others think of you.

The need to prefer is universal and nothing is wrong with it. The problem arises when it consumes your life and starts demanding to do anything and everything is preferred.

Consider one thing. You can never control what you think about others. And it does not matter what you do, people will always try to catch you back or laugh. The authentic people are those who close the nieces and boldly move forward to make their destiny.

Authenticity is about being yourself, what you want to do in life and you have the courage to be immature about it. So go ahead and live the life you always wanted!
