Rise Up, O Muslims

In his treatise, Prof. M. Naquib Al-Attas analogized Islam as a bright light, a beautiful light and brilliant form. The Muslims are mirrors that reflect light. If the mirror is clean and clear, of course the light will reflect perfectly. But if the mirror is dull and dirty, then it will not be able to reflect light properly, and ignorant people will conclude that the light has dimmed, not the dull mirror.
