Regular followers of my work will know that I have been champing the application of #Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology across all industries for over +5 years now.
One industry that is ripe for #Blockchain adoption is Global Trade, in particular the Import / Export Market and Supply Chain.
If #DigiByte #Blockchain wants to go for the big prize, it has to position itself for this Market worth trillions of dollars annually.
This is an untapped market that every #Blockchain will be hoping to get a slice of over the next 5 - 7 years.

There isn't a more needing industry.
Supply chains are global.
I mean, if you wanted to build a "Made in the USA" anything... well, good luck. You will often pay 3x as much, if you can get the parts at all.
Supply chains are global, but money transactions are so painful you do things like, have it "shipped" to an island in the Bahamas, and then resell it to yourself in the states.
The swift system has so much regulation hassle, that i do not know why everyone hasn't just moved to bitcoin.
Well, i know why, it is because everyone isn't doing it yet.
We still need raw materials, and we would need them sold in bitcoin.
Once that happens, every time i would contact a manufacturer or vendor, i would ask for price in bitcoin. (or LTC, DGB... even Dogecoin)
I could send the vendor their payment and have the shipment on the boat faster than i could get to the bank to start the paperwork for the wire transfer.
