5 Lessons from a Trip to Crypto Valley and the Future of Decentralization

Back in June, I shared how I was going to go to Zug, Switzerland (aka “Crypto Valley”) to explore the future of decentralization.

Well, the trip kind of took on a life of its own, getting picked up by Fred Wilson, and leading to an incredible experience with 35 people from 15 countries.

We had over 15 meetings with investors, entrepreneurs, lawyers, government officials, and more over 3 days.

It’s spawned a new organization Crypto Explorers and a second trip (scheduled for October).

We also put together a full report on what we learned (free PDF).

The thesis proved true.

Immersing yourself in a community of people who are equally passionate about crypto, decentralization, and blockchains is a phenomenal way to get your head around what is going on and position yourself to profit from it.
