He sounds like an incredible human being who brightened the world wherever he went. Some people are special that way. They're very rare but when you encounter one they leave a lasting impression.
I'm sorry for your loss but hope your good memories give you joy and comfort.
Oh he was very special indeed and left wonderful memories. One lady who met him just after her mother died told us how he invited her into his flat for a cup of tea and comforted her so beautifully, she told her son afterwards that she thinks she met an angel that day. Very special man to many!
