First blockchain book: Blockchain 101

in #blockchain7 years ago

For Blockchain, the most important blessed word of communication and information age is to escape a little bit, but after the internet, a common opinion is growing stronger that it is the strongest idea that communities can bring about radical changes in their behavior and communication patterns.

We will make a mistake if we take Blockchain as a reflection of just one word or Bitcoin, the crypto currency in which it proves itself. Blockchain offers us the power to solve one of the biggest problems in the digital world as a technological approach based on digital bases; independent of central wills, to keep records of large communities and to agree on the correctness of these records.

I have had the chance to pursue the name and various applications of Blockchain technology for my business since the year 2010. But I can say that the real potential is the year that we passed, and that it will become more and more stamped on future years. This process made it necessary to write a Blockchain book because it was not a comprehensive source of reference relevant to the subject in Turkey. The first person to make this determination was the Director General of the Interbank Card Center (BKM). It was Soner Canko. With the vision of Soner Canko and the support of BKM, we put the bases of the book named Blockchain 101 in the last quarter of 2016. Digital Technologies Solution Architecture By the end of May this year, Blockchain 101 met with readers in both digital and limited edition with very important contributions by Serkan Doğantekin's technical subjects and applications in the departments.

The book explains the application areas and potentials rather than the technical details
The concept of Blockchain is based on a logic that seems quite simple at first. We save the data in blocks, but each block is packed with a unique summary of the previous one. We then distribute these records to many people so that we ensure that the data remains unaltered while we keep the system consistent by discarding those that do not match the rules used in this registration process. But I have to admit it sincerely that it is much more difficult to understand and explain these solutions as it is becoming a problem to solve many technical problems as we begin to get into the details of the subject. We can say that a plane is flying with its lifting force and its wings, but thousands of engineers have to work for decades to produce that plane perfectly. Fortunately, Blockchain develops smaller teams and shorter time periods as it requires more numerical problems to be solved than mechanical problems.

In Blockchain 101, we have made a great effort to understand the Blockchain concept with a simple approach and narration. As the name Blockchain 101 says, the technical details of the second platinum are not neglected, but it is a book that offers its foundations, application areas and the potential of this technology. We hope that we succeeded in signing a gradually expanding public by dropping a small drop in the gigantic technology ocean.
