Blockchain Democracy: Make America (and the World) Great Again?steemCreated with Sketch.

The Trump administration, at least two members, anyway seem to be
interested in using the Blockchain for governmental purposes. Margie
Graves, acting federal chief information officer at the Office of Management
and Budget (OMB) and Mick Mulvaney, Congressional Blockchain Caucus
co-founder and head of the OMB, according to Coindesk. https://www.coindesk.com/trump-white-house-doubles-us-commitment-blockchain

Streamlining bureaucracy and improving responsiveness to citizens with
technology are of major importance to the OMB.

Opinion:

It is a very good sign for blockchain development to hear that the Trump
administration is showing a positive interest for the blockchain and it's
development being virtually endorsed by the Trump administration.

There are many types of records, I don't know off hand how many, but
many types of records can be secured and indexed later using a
blockchain. I read an article years ago, that taught me that record-keeping,
such as property records and other types of records were one of the
aspects of American organization that made the U.S great. I don't
remember the source of that article, it was two decades ago that I read
it, but there should be no doubt that good record-keeping is a strength.

The following might just be a dream or a goal of democratic purpose,
but if most records and important information could be secured by
"citizen" miners or "witnesses" if I understand the analogy correctly
of miners to witnesses, it seems to me that a large group of citizen
miners or "witnesses" securing government blockchains could be a
great way of defining and securing democracy in a decentralized way.

So it would be more democratic and not at all anarchistic to allow
any or all citizens to secure everything that is blockchain.

I think that it is eventually possible. But is it a dream? Can this be a goal
of future citizens of democratic countries?

Is it a dream to hope that the entire world can be a democratic world
secured with many blockchains, by the world's citizens and every human
that want to can be a part of it if they choose to mine or "witness?

Why cant you be positive.

What is your country ? @Cloudspyder

FOCUS on making the WORLD great.

Dont bring it down with sarcasm...raise it by leaving it in a better condition it was in before YOU.

Regardless of who is doing it its great block chain is getting the attention it deserves so it can continue evolving.

YES @doorman !! It does not matter if one person or group or whatever... This is a global and Earth-wide initiative.

We are doing as much as possible and must do MORE with the blockchain.

Records--- which records cannot be stored on the blockchain?

ANSWER:

If so, hold on for multiple waves of legislation!

Well, don't panic! Legislation, yes but HODL, some or a bunch of that is F.U.D. (FEAR, UNCERTAINTY and DOUBT)

Are investment bankers your guide?

Did bankers not make enough bad loans and collect on them until 2007-8 and then CD SWAP?

Interesting trivia.....Elliot waves...
... And how about those Fibonacci numbers or retracements.
