The Kingdom of the Netherlands first to license Ethereum based token Edgeless!
The country of Curaçao, part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, is the first to license the Ethereum based token Edgeless (EDG). The token is utilised for fair online gambling. Based on blockchain technology, casinos using EDG don't have the house edge or built in advantage over the gambler.
Curacao license is a good starting point which enables us to compete with traditional online casinos, however, we are not finished yet. The crypto and gambling field is evolving really fast including legalities. Our legal team will be working on acquiring more licenses in thenear future and strengthening Edgeless legal base.

The license was granted on the 22nd of December 2017, having license number #8048/JAZ2017–076. The licence identifier (8048/JAZ) tells they received a sublicense from Master License Holder Antillephone NV, furthermore the license number shows that it was issued in 2017, and the final three numbers identify the license specifically.
Moreover, the government of Curaçao nor the license holders itself publish any information on how business is conducted between Sub License Holders (Edgeless) and their Master License Holders (Antillephone NV). Only the people deeply involved in the system know what's going on between them. However, the licenses are issued by the Governor General who reports directly to the Kingdom of the Netherlands and ultimately, King Willem-Alexander.
All in all, this is great news for new businesses who base their architecture on the blockchain technology!
