PRASAGA DGT : Making Smart Work ( with DataGrid Blockchain and XBOM)
Introduction
In recent years, we hear the term smart contract or smart contract more and more often. This technology allows anyone to issue tokens that can be used for fundraising, stock offering and exchange rates. While the blockchain contains transaction records such as an accounting book, the difference is if the accounting book uses a debit credit system, in this blockchain it is even simpler, just recording source funds - input - (from whom the amount is) and the purpose of transfer -output- (to whom the amount is ).
This book is then sealed using a cryptographic function and then compiled together with the previous books forming a blockchain and distributed or copied to other places scattered everywhere as evidence as well as backups that can be read by anyone. In the process of writing this book (block), the node (the place that stores these books) before writing it will check whether the data written as the source of the transaction (input) actually exists, the amount is correct, has never been used in other transactions, and the input whether people have the right or not, this mechanism is known as double spending prevention (update: this mechanism applies to the bitcoin blockchain system)
What is the Prasaga DataGrid Blockchain?
DataGrid Blockchain or abbreviated ("DGB") is a new design for blockchain from "bottom up". It combines the components of the following concepts: proof of work, proof of ownership, parallel chain or sharding, Byzantine fault tolerance, verifiable random functionality, locking, open-source unauthorized design, open source code.
The purpose of this design is to enable extremely secure low latency, high transaction throughput rates, scalable with increased resource availability.
DGB is also designed to be a general purpose blockchain enabling simple and extremely complex cryptocurrencies and business relationships, on a global scale.
DGB is not a smart contract implemented to on top of other existing blockchain technologies. DGB was not designed for specific vertical use cases, but was designed as a "horizontal technology" suitable for an almost unlimited number of application offerings around the world.
Advantages of the XBOM
XBOM is different from the concept of Smart Contracts. XBOM allows direct support for object-oriented models where objects are instances of a class containing code previously created in DGB. and This means that creating a new XBOM object does not require the user to load any code. Because XBOM is object-centric as opposed to account-centric, transactions sent to objects execute code for that object class, regardless of the state of the account in which the object is located.
XBOM also uses a language agnostic message delivery paradigm. You can combine programming languages even in a single class inheritance hierarchy. However Presaga will implement an XBOM language which is loosely based on python, and will support just-in-time compilation for local node execution performance.
This is an evolutionary change in the concept of blockchain code execution and the concept of blockchain as a world computer. Examples include the following: the concept XBOM uses leads directly to support ie ownership for each account as well, automated KYC enforcement accounting for the various jurisdictions involved; and non-custodian decentralized markets.
Furthermore, XBOM enables a new concept, XBOM Smart Object Asset ("XSOA"). XSOA can represent digital security, ownership of physical assets, or other "static data" elements. XSOA can also enforce buyer and seller relationships from other XSOA objects, with prices at DGT. Furthermore, XSOA can inherit code to automate enforcement of KYC / AML regulations and other jurisdictional requirements without direct action by the buyer or seller.
The XSOA concept enables several new decentralized and distributed architectures such as a decentralized non-custodial multi-party marketplace, where KYC or AML rules are enforced automatically, by market-independent XSOA objects. This shifts law enforcement responsibility from the decentralized market to individual accounts.
DataGrid Blockchain Features
DGB uses the DataGrid Token ("DGT") as the "real" coin. DGT is a mined coin that functions similarly to Ethereum coins. That is, transactions consuming DGT are similar to Ethereum "GAS". The new DGT was created as an incentive reward for block production by miners similar to Ethereum as well as Bitcoin. DGT monetary policy is a very unique new approach to coin supply management (i.e. tokenomics) to improve also DGT stability based on economic activity as opposed to static algorithmic printing (e.g. Ethereum and Bitcoin), or tethering (e.g. Tether), which is enabled by DGB and XBOM.
DGB tackles blockchain trilemma as well as Dapp issues from a different point of view from the smart contract account model and from the UTXO scripting model. DGB believes this is an untried approach. We also came to the question of cryptocurrency from a different point of view, which is also an approach that has not been tried before. The problems we are trying to solve are listed as follows:
· Transaction latency appropriate for most forms of trading including retail Point of Sale;
· Transaction capacity increases with the number of new resources added (i.e. new mining nodes);
· Maintaining security with scale;
· Maintaining security with latency;
· Implemented as a blockchain without open permissions;
· Resilience in the presence of network partitions;
· Support for live code reuse, previously loaded on the blockchain;
· Flexible monetary policy approach;
· Decentralization of all aspects of blockchain management;
· Solutions to the "rail and hotel" problem of synchronizing any application layer;
· Support for multiple signature schemes and new ones as they are created;
· Independence of implementation (no single official codebase is required);
· Means to enforce external rules such as KYC;
· And (optional) transparent multi-language support.
Conclusion
The DataGrid blockchain is designed to solve several common problems related to the exchange of data between machines. The design goal is to enable secure low latency, high transaction throughput rates, scalability with increased resource availability. and There are various areas of the global economy that will be disrupted by the Datagrid blockchain. Among these sectors include: Identity, Supply Chain and logistics, Decentralized Financial Ecosystem commonly known as "DeFi", Government and RegTech. The platform is expected to offer a better and qualitative life to all by integrating its use and blockchain into human life, making it easier to use for various purposes.
