2key is now an ISO Participating Member for shaping the Global Blockchain Standards

Hi Everyone, we’re happy to announce that starting today, 2key.network will be actively participating in shaping the global standards (ISO) for blockchain, in the subject areas of interoperability, legally binding smart contracts and decentralized governance.

We’ve been accepted to serve as a full participating member in the International Standards Organisation (ISO), where we will be representing both the state of Israel and the blockchain industry.
We will aim to update on public channels regarding meaningful issues, discussions and votes as these global standards are being actively shaped, and we welcome your feedback.
We believe a major part of our role in ISO is to make sure global blockchain standards are formed with the best interests of the industry and users in mind, and so we will strive to incorporate public polls from the ecosystem as part of our ongoing work there and as one of the main pillars for forming our formal decisions and votes in the process.

Here are the standards 2key will be focusing on:
(1) ISO/AWI TS 23259 : Blockchain and distributed ledger technologies — Legally binding smart contracts
(2) ISO/NP TS 23635 : Blockchain and distributed ledger technologies — Guidelines for governance
(3) ISO/PRF TR 23455 : Blockchain and distributed ledger technologies — Overview of and interactions between smart contracts in blockchain and distributed ledger technology systems
