I signed up when I first heard about narrative, but the obvious profit seeking motive of making users pay for a niche every year, for a site that is completely unproven really turned me off. That seemed like pure rent-seeking to me. A non-oligarchical fork of steem that actually rewards human beings for quality content, interaction, and curation is far more appealing to me.
