Dubai Issuing First-Ever State Cryptocurrency

Dubai is leading the world by officially launching its own cryptocurrency called emCash. The cryptocurrency will be valid as legal payment for governmental and nongovernmental services.

Several months back Dubai also embraced blockchain technology, by setting the goal of being the first government to completely tranform all governmental systems to blockchain by 2020. Dubai is making much progress -- seeking to become a global blockchain financial hub including recently allowing property sales entirely in Bitcoin.
