The team is planning to release almost half of the listed modules in 2017. They launched their SNGLS token on Oct 2nd 2016. According to Zach LeBeau (CEO of SingularDTV), once Tokit and LaunchPad modules are launched, artists and creators will be able to launch their own tokenized ecosystem. They would be able to produce content that will be placed on the distribution portal “EtherVision”.

Also SingularDTV hired Jason Tyrrell as the Vice President of content. Jason has over 10 years of extensive Hollywood experience in content distribution. According to article published in Cointelegraph, Jason’s mission at SingularDTV is to help compete with the existing and established entertainment platforms like Netflix, Hulu and Amazon by making the deals with publishers and creators to bring premium content to SingularDTV.
At Cointelegraph when he was asked what the entertainment world and Blockchain community should expect from SNGL, as he is now in charge of content, Tyrrell answered:

I personally feel that the team is showing utmost dedication to make this platform a success. May be artists and creators who deserve the limelight would get a quality platform to showcase their talent. This is one of the strongest applications of decentralized blockchain. We all should look forward to this and encourage such projects to help build the decentralized network where all could benefit equally.
