From the use of pigeons to social networking, communication between humans has evolved through leaps and bounds. It has achieved some amazing feats at every step from the very beginning. As we evolved, communication evolved with us, and throughout the history of communication the ways to communicate have changed but the one thing that has remained constant is change.
We are in an era where communication has reached its peak and you might think what more and what better can there be now. Messaging, audio calling, video calling, conferences throughout the world without any boundaries, you can do it all. And today using telegrams might not be an ideal choice in current times where you don't just communicate in your own society, state or country, we are connected globally now. But the question still remains, what more and what better? We have to evolve with time and we have to change. And I am happy to tell you that, YES!, we are evolving, we are CHANGING! You needed a change and an improvement on what current social networks offered and you might not have thought what and how good the change would be. The change is amazing, the change is SPHERE.

Let me tell you what Sphere has brought to us. The things that you might not have thought of before, as you were too busy in your own world and forgot that there are some important things that the social networks, you're using, are stealing from you. Not just your time. Your privacy, your personal data, all your information, your likes and dislikes, your interests and everything in general that you share on these social networks is being used by these social networking giants to make money off them and in return they pay you nothing. Things that you might have wished to stay private and personal don't remain so as they are not safe on these networks because of the best job these giants are doing, STEALING. They sell every bit of information they take away from you to the advertisers and in return make money off them. And this is where you would like to see a change and this is what sphere has brought into context, which is decentralization.
Your private data, your information, your likes and interests are safe and only you can decide what to share publicly and what to hide. You can decide what to keep private and what to sell or who can access your content and everything you share on this network. Isn't this amazing!
Sphere has its own Market Place!
Moreover, sphere has a market place too which allows e-commerce within sphere. It's a place where registered users can create new products and sell them or create advertisements for their friends to see and buy them. And you can adjust in your privacy settings to decide who can see your posts. The buying and selling of products will be made through SAT tokens.
What are SATs
- SAT(Social Activity Tokens) are a digital currency used to facilitate transactions within the decentralized network.
- These tokens are used by the registered users in the marketplace to buy and sell products.
- SAT will be listed in some key exchanges where you can trade it.
- These tokens are immediately transferable
SAT tokens are standard ERC20 and you can use MetaMask, Mist or MyEtherWallet to store these tokens.

Initial Coin Offering
The ICO started on 12th of February 2018 for four rounds and will end on 9th of April 2018. It's a campaign where where cryptocurrency is sold to early backers. The first round has already finished and the second is just about to finish. The softcap of $1.5M USD has been achieved.
You might have missed the first phase but you can still get a lot of bonus now. To make most of this opportunity, but it early, but it now.
Bounty Program
This is a place where you can earn a lot of SATs. You go to the bounty program and contribute in different categories to earn SATs. However, there are some rules for every bounty that need to be followed to earn sphere tokens:

Your account should have a minimum of 50 posts and 200 comment karma.
Posts and comments with negative karma do not qualify.
Posts and comments on r/spheresocial will be rewarded for up to 5 comments or posts on the same user account.
YouTube bounty
Requirements for YouTube videos and video sharing:
Maximum of 3 videos
Channel must be at least 1 month old and public
Videos must be more than 2 minutes long
Video description must contain a link to https://sphere.social
Videos that do not have a human voice-over will only receive half the bounty listed.
Facebook bounty
Like and follow @SphereSocialNetwork
Post about Sphere.
Requirements:
You must like and follow the Sphere Facebook page.
Your post and # friends/followers must be public.
An account only qualifies once, no matter how many posts you make.
Maximum amount of posts to qualify for this bounty is 10 post per week.
Maximum amount of posts to qualify for this bounty is 2 posts per day.
Blog bounty
Requirements:
Must have 1000 characters or more without spaces.
Must contain at least 2 links to https://sphere.social.
Must have unique content (ANN translations do not count).
Plagiarism is prohibited (including translations). Offenders will be banned

We will divide blogs into three different categories. SAT will be allocated according to how much effort you put into your blog post.
(Starting from Week 16 - 3/10/2018 onwards, grade for Basic blog will be rewarded 150 SAT)

Medium 2500 SAT
Extraordinary 6000 SAT
There are other bounties,Twitter, Medium, sphere signature program and feedback, that you can contribute in too.
You can earn SATs by submitting your contribution in the category that you have contributed in on going to bounty page of Sphere.

Nice article, maybe my first time of knowing about this sphere. From the explanations, does it mean it works similar to steemit but not really like? Does it mean it has a social interface like what we have here on steemit? Live has actually moved so fast in this 21st century and i am happy social media platforms is also making a move. That's one reason i love steemit, giving to its users even without investing on steem blockchain. Thanks much
It's a social media network at it's core,so yeah it's similar in that sense to steemit and its decentralized. But other than that it's different from steemit but it has its own cryptocurrency that you can buy and use it for buying and selling products within the network. And you can trade SAT as well. And yes, sphere will reward or give back the users some profit they earned through them :)

Wow, nice article. This could be my first time hearing about sphere. From your post, does it mean, one does not need to invest before he could start making some money? And does it work like steemit? Like a social platform like this here? That would be nice to hear anyway. Live has evolved and seeing social media platforms taking the new trend is a great achievement, just as good as we have on steemit.
