Having lived in Dubai for four years and visiting for nearly 14 years I have quite a bit of experience in how Dubai has developed over the last 14 years.
The picture above is of Dubai Marina.
During my stay in Dubai I lived in the Marina and most, if not all, of the towers you see in the picture I watched being built.
On many occasions I walked around the Marina and have stood many times on the Marina Promenade to the left of the picture.
Having come from a Construction, Heavy Engineering, Contracting, and Developing background I was like a child in a sweet shop watching these towers being built.
Great memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life.
I was scanning my news feeds earlier and came across this great article about Dubai that I thought I would share with you.

This is a fantastic and well researched article that explains the exact vision of Dubai in leading the area in Blockchain Technology.
For me, watching a complete city rise from the desert in such a short period of time is testament to the leaders of the Emirate and one that I have always greatly admired.
From my first visit to Dubai in 2003 I knew it would always be a place that was not afraid of pushing the boundaries of technology and even back then the cutting edge technology that was being applied was the envy of most in the region.
Once again this is a great article and again cements my strong belief that Blockchain Technology is set to revolutionise Global Trade and taking it to a whole new level. Totally unthinkable 14 years ago..!!
