in #blockchain7 years ago

Segwit2x said in a CCN news release last week that they were planning to move forward with the proposed Hard Fork in the coming weeks. Jaap Terlouw, the main developer of Segwit2x, said on the project's Web site that the team will eventually implement the Hard Fork split on Dec. 28.

It was scheduled for implementation in November, but was canceled by the development team amid controversy and splits in society. In an official statement, the Panel acknowledged that they had not built enough consensus to increase the mass of the blockchain. Resulting in the abolition of modernization in an effort to preserve the community.
