Sharia Certified Blockchain Network - Bitcoin is Halal (Permissible) in Islam
When Bitcoin is Halal (Permissible) in Islam, Guess What, All the middle eastern or Islamic countries have no barrier to use it as a currency. This is a huge relief for the middle eastern countries. In Islam everything is divided into two group 1) Halal (permissible) 2. Haram (not permissible). When a Sharia board declared something Haram, most of the people obey this directive.
Halal or Haram directives applicable to everything you encountered in your life i.e from FOOD, Business, relationship, money, etc everything is clearly defined what is halal or what is haram. Anyway, for me, the Bitcoin chapter is important as because Bitcoin has a huge potential to grow in the middle eastern region.
Recently, A Sharia Review Bureau, Certified Steller network as a sharia-compliant blockchain network. This Sharia board is licensed by Central Bank of Bahrain. Sharia released guidance to accept Steller technology in Islamic Financial Institutions. Source
You like it or not, This Sharia Review Bureau has a great influence in the Islamic world. As Steller network got sharia certification, Other blockchain networks should get the Certification.
