Given the recent headlines regarding the Equifax security breach I came across an interesting line in a reuters article posted on
fortune.com on September 27, 2017.

Equifax’s interim chief executive officer, Paulino do Rego Barros Jr., vowed to introduce a
free service by Jan. 31 that will let consumers control access to their own credit records.

I, like most blockchain enthusiasts have been hearing of potential solutions to credit monitoring and identity theft
and immediately thought there's got to be some kind of blockchain solution coming.

A quick internet search revealed U.S. credit agencies test Canadian blockchain identity network, the text of which
noted that Equifax along with other U.S. credit agencies were testing an identity network with a company called Securekey.
Apparently secure key is part of the hyper ledger project. They have been testing it since May of 2017.
