A Blockchain-powered Phone In The Making : Officially Announced by HTC

The Taiwanese based phone mater HTC, has officially announced that they have has a blockchain-powered smartphone in the works. EXODUS will be the name for the model as reported, it has feature that are cryptocurrency-related.

The phone is given a universal wallet with hardware support for cryptocurrencies as well as decentralised app by HTC. Exodus will support Bitcoin and Ethereum, and other digital currencies will be supported later on.

Phill Chen, who is the project lead for Exodus said “Through Exodus, we are excited to be supporting underlying protocols such as Bitcoin, Lightning Networks, Ethereum, Dfinity, and more. We would like to support the entire blockchain ecosystem, and in the next few months we’ll be announcing many more exciting partnerships together.”
