Absolutely, the question is how many people will actually install blockchain software und run it? We have less and less PC/Laptop sales and more mobile devices. Mobile devices are usually using all resources they have to work fast, so it's a big question if you want to rely on PC and or mobile devices and if people are willing to share their ressources for a small profit. The only alternative is central nodes.
