Upcoming Events:
On August 25th, 2018, from 10:40 to 11:20 a.m. (UTC+8:00), Ruff CEO Roy Li will attend the “Global Blockchain Technology Conference 2018” which will focus on sectors such as blockchain algorithms and theories, technology stacks, architecture practices, and industry applications. http://blc-summit.com/.On September 7th and 8th, 2018, SLUSH, which is remarked by Forbes as “China’s leading international entrepreneurship and technology gala”, will land in Shanghai and convene more than 15,000 attendees including entrepreneurs, investors, and media partners. Popular industries include IoT, blockchain technology, and health care. Ruff is invited to attend the blockchain road show section to share the deep integration value of IoT and blockchain as well as practical business cases.
On September 15th and 16th, 2018, Ruff will attend “The Third China-Germany Artificial Intelligence Conference 2018” on invitation. The conference highlights the advanced technologies and scientific concepts of the Germany artificial intelligence industry. Ruff will share integration scenarios of industrial IoT and blockchain and display their solutions at the exhibition zone.
From September 14th to 16th, 2018, the “Taobao Maker Festival 2018”, held by the Alibaba Group, will take place at West Lake, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. Ruff has been invited to the festival to establish a “Ruff IoT Geek Lab” in the science and technology innovation zone, enabling the audience to participate in live demos where they can interact with lights using code, add IoT data to the blockchain, and more.
Recent Developments:
On August 9th, 2018, Ruff CMO Jing Tianwei attended the “Shanghai Stanford Alumni AMINO Talks Series & Silicon Valley Blockchain Artificial Intelligence Project Exchange” event and delivered a speech titled “Why Are We Creating a Public Chain in IoT?”. In the speech, Jing Tianwei pointed out that IoT is natural soil for blockchain to grow. For example, in the shared charging station sector, core exchange and asset data are significant for the chaining of data to achieve new business models such as financial leasing and asset securitization.
On August 7th, 2018, Roy Li was interviewed live by YouTube channel Crypto Love. He discussed the entrepreneurship roadmaps of IoT and blockchain projects including integration and value points, differences from other IoT blockchain projects, and more.
On August 18th, 2018, Ruff officially released the first LoRa wireless collector supporting data chaining, the RWTi1000, which is an IoT smart hardware developed by Ruff based on existing business models. As a wireless data transmission terminal based on LoRa spread spectrum technology, the RWTi1000 features long range, low cost, low consumption, high sensitivity, resistance to interference, and high reliability. It supports not only two-way transmission of data but also the chaining of value data. It achieves this through an IoT wireless access plan which is comprised of value data and a data collection gateway.
Community Building:
On August 17th, 2018, which was also Chinese Valentine’s Day, Ruff initiated a gift presentation activity called “Let’s Co-chain Love to Remain Unchanged Forever” in their WeChat public account. Within half a day, the number of messages sent exceeded 600. The statistics have been collected and gifts will be distributed before 6:00 p.m. (UTC+8) this Monday. Thank you for your participation!
