Belgian minister of Digital Agenda meets with VeChain CEO

Minister De Croo mentioned that he sees a lot of potential for blockchain in the government sector after meeting with Sunny Lu, CEO of the blockchainplatform VeChain.

They two parties met up after a request from VeChain itself. The singapore-based company is spreading their market share in a rapid pace, signing cooperation deals with governments and private institutions such as pwc.

De Croo stated that a good blockchain use case would be in the identity management domain, where personal data can be stored in a safe way, linking it to a federal authentication system.
