"Advertising isn't just the disruption of aesthetics, the insult to your intelligence and the interrption of your train thought". Whatsapp users might read this message which written in WhatsApp Blog with the title "Why We Don't Sell Ads", Juni 18th 2012.

It is quite true. Now we ar no longer media's client. We are objects and products that sold by Media, such as Yahoo, Google, Facebooks, and others.

Various applications developed by media to detect our locations, our preferences, and other thins about us. Those data then transfered to be the informations that sold for money through advertising.

At the end, our existence in media to get pure informations are interrupted/destroyed by the purpose of the most influenced company who spend a lot for advertisement in media.

Crucial media functions such as to inform,to educate, social control, and to entertain is getting thinner. Media with collecting technology, data and facts processors are creating all data and facts as their products to get money from advertising.

Today, media is manipulating our point of views toward products, sides, and conditions, that influences and directs us to be their followers, think and act just exactly like the informations which media provided. At the end, media companies are getting richer while we are just their products, and as the stupid informations eaters.

According to market research, eMarketer, Google saved 72.69 billion US Dollars from advertising revenue in 2017, while Facebook approximately get 33.76 billion US Dollars.

If we agree that advertising is interruptive as stated by WhatsApp, then the solution is to move to blockchain media. Only with the technlogy which creates cyrpto currency, media will be free from such advertisements. Even more, we can get revenues as curators and content creators just like we all in Steemit. I hope genius idea Smart Media Tokens (SMTs) is implemented soon. [Pe-20]

Bagi pemakai WhatsApp pasti pernah membaca pesan yang ditulis di WhatsApp Blog berjudul "Why we don't sell ads" 18 Juni 2012.

Pesan dari WhatsApp itu ada benarnya. Saat ini, kita bukan lagi klien dari media. Kita saat ini semuanya adalah produk yang dijual oleh media seperti Yahoo, Google, facebook dan berbagai media lainnya.

Berbagai aplikasi dikembangkan oleh media untuk melacak keberadaan atau lokasi kita, mengetahui kesukaan dan hal lain tentang diri kita, dan semua data itu diolah menjadi informasi yang dijual untuk menghasilkan uang melalui iklan.

Akhirnya, keberadaan kita untuk mendapatkan informasi dari media juga tidak lagi murni, melainkan informasi yang diberikan oleh media berdasarkan pihak yang paling banyak berbelanja iklan di medianya.

Fungsi-fungsi penting media yang utama seperti to inform, to educate, social control, dan to entertain kini makin menipis. Media, dengan teknologi pengumpul dan pengolah data dan fakta telah menjadikan semua data dan fakta itu sebagai alat jual untuk mendapatkan belanja iklan.

Kini, media sebesarnya untuk memanipulasi cara pandang kita terhadap produk, pihak, dan keadaan sehingga lama kelamaan kita menjadi pengikut yang berpikir dan bertindak sesuai dengan informasi yang di atur suguhkan oleh media. Ujungnya, pihak media terus kaya raya, sedangkan kita sebagai sebatas menjadi produk, dan sebagai pemamah informasi kita menjadi manusia yang dibodohi.

Menurut perusahaan peneliti pasar, eMarketer, Google diramalkan mengamankan 72,69 miliar dolar AS keuntungan iklan pada 2017. Sementara Facebook diperkirakan mendapat sekitar 33,76 miliar dolar AS.

Jika kita sepakat iklan sangat mengganggu sebagaimana disampaikan oleh pihak WhatsApp maka solusinya adalah beralih ke media yang dibangun di atas teknologi blockchain. Hanya dengan teknologi yang menghasilkan uang kripto inilah media bisa bebas dari iklan dan bahkan berbagi pendapatan untuk kreator dan kurator konten, persis seperti media steemit ini. Kita berharap gagasan cerdas Smart Media Tokens (SMTs) dapat segera kita implementasikan.

It seems that no matter where we go marketers follow us and feed us off of us like parasites. I hadn't really thought about how wonderful it is to be on steam it in relation to the ads, but that is probably one of the reasons why I am so happy here. Good article.
