Great point. Steemit is honestly amazing for content writers. What I envision is other sites such as Steemit that will offer a place for content creators. Such as Reddit, Quora, Yahoo answers, etc.
I think it's incredible that everything is turning into blockchain and taking out the boss and middlemen. This is fascinating breakthrough technology. I personally think it will happen sooner than five years due to the efficiency in using blockchain.
I'm really curious about how Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube will adopt to blockchain. I'm sure they are doing research at the moment, but if they have better blockchain platforms with competitive advantages, then Facebook could be the next Myspace haha.

yes, right now we have "lit" the blockchain instagram that pay you token, and dtube can be replacing youtube and more is coming, if facebook, twitter and youtube refuse to pay their user cryptocurrency, their userbase will leave them and they will be replaced
