QRYPTOS is QUOINE’s fully digital cryptocurrency exchange and trading platform launched in June 2017.

WHAT IS GAZECOIN?

GazeCoin (GZE) is a currency that provides AR/VR advertisers and creators trackable ROI by rewarding audiences for gaze-triggering content. Further, it allows creators and brands to mint their own tokens and users to participate in gaze-powered worlds without having to hold a digital currency first.

Created initially as a solution for monetization in VR & AR (where there is no monetization model other than users paying for content flat-out), creators can add their content channels ranging from their YouTube channels all the way to an AR/VR channel provided by the Gaze Coin WebVR browser. In the same browser, advertisers can purchase campaigns tied to these ‘Gaze-powered’ contents. Gaze Coin monetizes attention (‘gaze’) across all platforms.

On top of its base function of measuring and monetizing attention, Gaze Coin is gamifying its expansion through a social game. Audiences are rewarded in GZE for discovering and recommending creators (‘talent’) and new worlds. Further, through the GazeCoin digital wallet, creators and brands can mint their own branded tokens for use in their own digital reality environments and worlds. The game then incentivizes creators and brands to launch these unique worlds, complete with their own currency traded on a decentralized talent

exchange. The exchange technology not only connects worlds; it also provides a solution for entry-level users to participate (earning and exchanging GZE and/or GZE-powered branded tokens) without the need to purchase a digital currency first.

HOW IT WORKS:

Gaze Coin calculates the exact amount of time users spend either looking at specific content (including VR/AR objects) and/or the amount of time they spend immersed inside content. It then creates a micro-transaction that:

1, pays a creator,
2, rewards a user/fan for consuming the content, and
3, charges an advertiser for the time/attention of the audience

The advertising model allows brands to purchase gaze-driven campaigns. So instead of purchasing keywords or clicks (the 2D web), they purchase ‘gaze’, or, more accurately, attention. The campaign runs out when audiences have engaged with it to the full capacity of the attention purchased.

With Gaze Coin, creators and brands can mint branded “talent” tokens on its platform via mini-ICOs unique to each creator, spawning an infinite array of distinct creative economies. The respective talent tokens can then be used however the creator chooses: musicians could allow for fans to pay for show tickets, artists could allow for customers to purchase artistic works, game developers could allow for players to buy skins or abilities, etc. These currencies can also be used in a larger sense by creators to retain greater ownership over their artistic works, mechanized to power royalties, synchronization licenses and other creative payouts historically difficult to capture accurately and fairly. Finally, talent tokens may also be used as the currency of unique virtual or augmented worlds, themed according to the creator (think “SnoopCoin”, “KardashianCoin” or even “Red Bull WingCoin”*, for example). Gaze Coin already has an MOU with one of the world’s preeminent music artists with a reach of 3M fans on Facebook alone minting the first talent token on the GZE platform (announcing soon). Because GZE token will be required for users/fans to participate in their favorite creators’ ICOs, the demand for GZE token will cement over time, driving value upward.
