My Passion Is Becoming A Blockchain Communicator

I didn't get into crytpo until February of 2017. At first, I was very confused about what Bitcoin even was, and hadn't discovered the potential impact it will have on humanity at that time.

My first dealings with Bitcoin was from an investment standpoint.

The price was around $1100- $1200 and looking at the previous numbers, it was like watching a stock blow up. I bought a small amount and then held on for the wild ride as the coin surged to over $4000 in a matter of months. I had dabbled in stock market investing before this. Once upon a time, I had owned a few shares of Apple, Inc. stock that was around $90 at purchase time. That was before the first Iphone hit the market. But that move didn't even compare to what Bitcoin was doing.

I was hooked. I had just wished that I wasn't living paycheck to paycheck at the time, so I could have invested a lot more money. But as I kept reading and learning about cyrptocurrency, I started seeing more promising coins out there that offered a purpose to humanity and was a lot more affordable. My curiosity was peaked even farther.

I am someone who was taught from a young age to respect other people, help when you can, always do the right thing and be a value to others. Having these core morals, I became more in love with the blockchain technology. Cyrptocurrency is so much more than digital money. It has the power to change the world as we know it and also even make "third-world countries" more fair and equitable places to thrive.

In Andreas M. Antonopolous' book,"The Internet of Money, "*he writes:

Approximately 1 billion people currently have access to banking, credit, and international finance capabilites-primarily the upper classes, the Western nations. Six and a half billion people on this planet have no connection to the world of money.

For those of us who have grown up in countries like Amercia, we can easily take this concept for granted. But the stark reality is that the majority of humans on Earth have been financially excomunicated from the rest of us. Imagine if we all could be equally part of somthing bigger than ourselves that will make this planet a better place (for all of us) to live.

Seeing the multitude of blockchain projects that are out there, it really excites me for the future. Blockchain can be used in voting, in healthcare, in business, in fair accounting and so much more. These are the reasons that I have decided to dedicate my writing and future endeavors to educating my fellow common folks on the wonders of the blockchain.

We need a grassroots effort to get fair regulation made in most Westernized countries. Although for us Americans, the road may get more difficult before it gets easy. The fact that the reserve currency of the entire world is the US dollar, is enough for Congress to try and kill it as fast as possible. Pandora is out of the box, so it's too late for them already. There are a multitude of countries jumping on the blockchain bandwagon to establish their own currency that isn't dependant on the US any longer. What does that tell you?

I am passionate about blockchain and developing ways to educate the masses about this technology. I am excited about the road ahead for cryptocurrency and being able to witness the beginning of something so life changing. Join me on this journey and help spread the word!
