Announcing New Ways to Earn OGN with Origin Rewards

Last month, we launched Origin Rewards as a new way for members of our community to become token holders alongside our core team and 800+ investors. Our goal with Origin Rewards is to reward the early users that are creating the most value for our network by using our marketplace DApp and by inviting their friends to join Origin. We’ve been blown away by the response from our community. Thousands of new users have verified their profiles, created and purchased listings, and invited their friends in mass. Thank you!

Today, we’re excited to announce a new campaign for the month of May, giving you new and exciting ways to continue earning Origin Tokens. If you haven’t enrolled in Origin Rewards yet, now is a great time to sign up and start earning your stake of the platform.

First, we’ve added Google OAuth as a new way to verify your identity on the Origin platform. Many people around the world rely on Google services, so using your Google account is a great way to connect your real identity to our platform. By connecting and verifying your Google account with Origin, you will increase the confidence that other buyers and sellers have when interacting with you. Note: we will not publish your Google account on the blockchain, only an attestation that we have checked and verified your account and that we are storing that information.

Similarly, we never publish your email address, phone number, or Facebook account on the blockchain. Again, we just publish the fact that you have verified these accounts with OriginID.

Second, we are offering OGN rewards to anyone that purchases one of our six featured listings:
