Experience more improvements and fixes on Opporty with our May Update

We have been working hard to improve the Opporty site, and we have released a new update note highlighting more fixes and improvements, aimed at enhancing your user experience and introducing new features. We also managed to catch some annoying bugs.

New version of blog

We enjoy communicating with our audience and presenting interesting content for you. Valuable content sharing is made possible only through the use of good blog. To make it easier to work with our blog, we present the latest update of our blog engine. Experience a better look and more content on Opporty’s blog from this time forward.

“Top Rating Professional” section improvements and update to a new version

We found that you are using our TOP Rating feature more frequently than we expected, and there were still some issues hindering your experience. In our latest update we addressed the majority of those issues, and we updated the YELP parser to improve search performance.

Wizard for filing company profile information

It is important for users to be able to enter necessary information about your company. From now on you will have access to our special wizard that allows you to enter information into the company profile section. This information will appear in the companies search.

Services in catalog view

We reviewed our catalog and added a services section to the catalog view. This will improve the overall experience of navigation on the site and its usability. It is now more convenient to see which services a company provides before entering the section containing full information about a company.

Update of email notifications

We know that you like to receive notifications about updates, new actions and any other activities on the site. We have heard your suggestions and made changes to the text of the email notifications we send to our users.

Gamification 1.0

The last but not least highlight is gamification. We have prepared all the necessary functionality to enable our users to earn coins by completing certain actions. We plan to add reward for this activities with tokens. For the time being, we have laid the foundation for this part of our site to be used during the gamification event.

Bug fixes

Additionally we have caught several bugs. One bug interfered with the use of the admin panel when a user tried to update their company. This functionality can now be used without any issues.
